Update #32 - Back on the Upswing

Added on by Pete Vellucci.

Time for that good news: Sarah's surgery went great and she's practically fully recovered by this point! Here she is getting back into the flow of her work.

We should be back to sharing final character cards next month!

For now we have a few other things to share with you:

We'll both be at PAX West this coming weekend, not officially showing anything, but reprising our usual roles as IndieMegabooth volunteers. If you'll be attending, feel free to find us around the IMB, or even reach out directly if you'd like a personal demo of All or One! We'll have an updated demo copy with us to show off the final art style; the quality is not up to what we should expect from our large scale printer, we simply ran this one-off copy through The Game Crafter (again, a great place for prototype/playtest/demo copies, but not who'd we use or recommend for final production).

Aside from being available to demo All or One, we will also have with us the first playable prototype of our next project, which we'll be using to offer first-look demos and begin spreading the word. This update is the first public announcement and picture of that project. If you'll be at PAX West and would like an early look at what's to come after All or One wraps up, feel free to reach out; and be sure to keep an eye on our social media accounts, as we intend to, you know, make actual use of those by sharing and promoting this next project much heavier than we did with All or One (the result of forming the company and accounts well near the end of that game's development).

One final thing about PAX West; for some inexplicable reason, PAX continues to accept back my ridiculous Indie Game Designers Modify & Play series of panels -- we run it as Werewolf at East, and Mafia at West. We'll be entering our third annual round of Mafia on Saturday evening in the Cat theater. For you PAX attendees, here are some links you may find helpful:

One last important bit of information for this month's update; we will be making our final selections for the remaining characters we are still seeking models for shortly after returning from PAX West, so this is your last chance to submit yourself if interested!

Thanks for bearing with our unintended but necessary summer slow down; we're excited to resume sharing our work as it completes!

Oh, PS, if you'll be attending XOXO in Portland the weekend after PAX West, we'll be helping our friends from Gather Round Games showcase their storytelling party game, Someone Has Died during the event (you can also catch Adi and Liz showing at Rose City Comic Con that same weekend)!
